that Duncan looked like Mulder when he was popping those ... seeds? nuts? mints? in his mouth at Maurice's restaurant?
Does anybody else love it when someone says "What can you do that I can't?" and Duncan gets to say "You'd be surprised."?
Does anybody else love it when Duncan whips out a sword when dressed in some non-medieval but not current clothes?
It's so fun to have a hero with a secret - with abilities and skills that no one else has - with experience the bad guys aren't counting on. It's fun to see might on the side of right, for a change.
See, I told you, nothing profound. I actually found myself rather disturbed by this k'immie. He had a point - he was created by someone else. But he obviously didn't really want to change, and killed without remorse, and Duncan had to take his head. It was just too bad. I would have liked (sometime) to see a story about someone like that who Duncan was actually able to help, and who might even reappear from time to time. Maybe it would have been too trite. But this time cutting off his head seemed to me to be too easy an answer.
JR, eating tuna fish and wondering if she should really try to get herself up to the lab sometime soon.
