Kinda in order but also in the order I thought of them. Well, OK, I thought of one more so actually 11.

11) Top tens! And other humorous posts. Laughter is good for the soul, and so is creativity. I think the first one I ever saw was "Top ten reasons to suspect that your neighbor is immortal". It was hysterical, as were many of the ones posted last night.

10) Practically every time an episode is dicussed, someone points out a detail I hadn't noticed or makes me think of something I hadn't before.

9) FRU's! Lots and lots of lovely Fru's! You all just wait until I get the stuff I've scanned onto my page and then I will finally be able to join the Fru-fests! I love 'em. I'd say that drooling is good for the soul too, but I'm afraid I might get struck down by lightning.

8) Inside scoops from Rottweiler, Big John, and others. I have just loved being in the know about what's going on with the season, the spin-off, and the movie, not to mention things like PW guest star roles, the Con, the magazine articles, etc.

7) Fun surveys! Just when I think it's all been done and there's not another one that could be asked, another one shows up that lets us all participate and express our memories and opinions!

6) Clans! I haven't actually joined one yet, but it's fun just to watch others join and have clan sisters and brothers and make new friendships and so on.

5) Trivia quizzes! Even though I'm surprisingly bad at ones other people post, it's great fun to read the answers, and I love putting together quote quizzes and such.

4) People actually read and respond to my essays about everything from Methos' motivations to Duncan's struggles with immortal justice to, golly, I don't even remember. Dr. Peterson shouldn't be surprised that I like to spend so much time here - I get tons more support and approval from Forumlanders than I ever do in the lab.

3) People around here actually pray for each other, send supportive e-mail to each other, and pat each other on the back when someone has accomplished something. Thus, people feel free to ask for help, prayers, support, and congratulations.

2) Wars and storms and bad times blow over. More than once I've logged off and thought, well, I may not go back there for a while. But every time it passes, and hopefully hurt feelings are mended, and Peace is restored, and fun times and great discussions keep on rolling.

1) Finally, we all love Highlander! This is the only place where no one looks at me funny when I mention having gone through all the Methos episodes and written down most of the dialogue, or thinks it the least bit odd that I have a katana hanging on my wall, or wonders about me when I tell them I have delusions of copying all the flashbacks in order onto one tape. When I quote Duncan or Methos or Fitzy, everyone gets it. When I wonder about my sanity, everyone laughs and says "you're not alone".

So happy birthday to the Forum and thanks to all Forumlanders who have made this such a great place to be!
