~*Forest Dome*~
You follow the winding trail of the forest. It was very damp and moist, a thick mist clinging onto the air, promising some rain. Because of this, it was hard to see, so you kept tripping or bumping into things much to your 'delight'.
The trail takes you to the top of a steep hill. Here the mist grew into a thin fog, which was still pretty thick. Suddenly you tripped over a root and fell down the hill, rolling and crashing into small trees and rocks. Finally, you blacked out, not standing the pain any longer.
~***~
You woke up at the edge of a large, circular area surrounded by the trees and hills of the forest. A dome. You tried to get up, but pain shot up in your arm, and you fell again. Your arm was broken, you had many cuts, and no one knew where you were.....
A rustle is heard infront of you, and suddenly a golden creature leaped out. He studied you, then notices your arm.
"Ack, humn'! You're hurt!"
You just stare at the creature, never really seeing one before. He had the beak of a bird, large, cat-like ears, and the tail of a fox. Plus, he had a strange accent. He blinked at you, then grinned.
"Ah, I fergot, you've never seen my breed before."
He gives a wry grin.
"M'name's Lanse; I'm a carhawox. I'm also guardian of this Forest Dome, until another one comes and takes m'place."
He gets this dreamy look, as if he wants to go to retirement. He blinked, remembering you are here, then gets a serious look.
"But right now I'm here, and so're you; but you can't get out."
You nodded, and he sighed.
"Very well. What I'm about to you is no harm of you; I'm just gonna teleport back to Ann so she could look at yer arm. Any creature can do this in the Dome; magic is enclosed in it, making it magic intense here."
His eyes glow, and suddenly you find yourself back on the trail. You can't feel your arm, so you got up and quickly go back to where you started, still surprised to see the carhawox.
