You move aside two large leaves to find a path hidden in the rain forest. You looked around, seeing if anyone was around, and gingerly followed the path, curious as to what you'll find.
There was a lot of vegetation around you, each a shade of rich green. Trees sky-rocketed to the evening sky, the bark a mossy brown color, long vines hanging from each branch. The ground was wet from the afternoon's light rain, making it sleek and some plants vibrant. Most of them were large leaves, like the ones hidding the path, with buds that still need to bloom. Infact, as you looked more closely, there wasn't a single plant in bloom; all of them were either bare or had small buds.
The sky slowly reddened, the sun at it's low point creating a sunset, and soon was gone, leaving only a crescent moon and stars to guide you through the night.
Suddenly a mass of fire flies appeared, glowing softly. Crickets chirped softly, creating a peacefull song. You walked on, admiring the small wonders of the young night, slowly getting to the end of the path.
As the first moon beam shined upon the buds of a large-leafed plant, the buds bloomed rapidly, creating small, white flowers with a single crystal in each middle. You gazed at them, eyes large and glittering, anime-like. Soon the whole area was filled as the moon rose, lighting the way until you could see the end of the path. You quickly got there, and looked around. You gaped.
It was a large clearing, filled with the crystal flowers. Above you the moon glowed, appearing almost like a smile. But the stars.....the sky was filled with stars, each shining vibrantly. A small shooting star streaked through for a second, leaving no trace behind.
You hear a snap behind you and you jumped. You turned around in mid air to see who it was, and jumped back again. A tigon! He started laughing.
"Whoa, traveler! Didn't mean to scare you!"
He gives a lop sided grin.
"I'm Magenta Moon, and welcome to Starry Night Pride. If you wish to look around, you may, but be quiet, some of the queens may be asleep right now and they're grumpy when they wake up."
A loud growlish-hissy noise is heard, and Magenta winces.
"See what I mean?"
You snicker, and Magenta looked back.
"Must be going now. Bye!"
With that he leaps off, dissappearing into the shadows, leaving you to pick where you go next.
