You came to a small patch, made by sorts of bushes and dead leaves. You moved it aside, and gasped. There was a small path leading to a curve, and on the path were paw prints. The paw prints were about as big as a wolf's, and you could see tufts of tan fur caught in some small twig branches. You followed the path, seeming that that was the only thing on your mind.
After many curves and straight lines, you almost gave up, until you saw the end of the path. You ran to it, and saw a large clearing of the forest. There were many types of trees, but the one that caught your eye most was a large, old, twisted tree, with only a few leaves on it. Even though the tree itself seemed that it was about ready to die, there seemed something strange, and a bit mysterious about it.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
You turned around, and saw a slender, tan wolf-like creature with long horns growling at you.
"I..I..I'm....", you stuttered, as the creatures glared at you angrily.
She seemed to stare at you for a long time, as if looking for something, then sighed.
"You are alright, stranger. No thief of any sorts. I am Lapika'teteri, Flash of White Waters."
She bowed in greeting.
"I'm a t'reithi. From the look of your face I guessed you didn't know."
She smirked, and all of a sudden you felt a bit embarressed by not knowing that.
"Well, I must go. If you want to, our stats sheet are over there. You could read them."
And with that she left dissappearing through the mists. You looked to where she pointed, and it was the old twisted tree! You walked towards it, and on a large silver plaque was some writing. It read:
