PRESTIGE CLASSES
"Kits, you say?"
I have decided to allow Multi-classing in only a very limited form: The Prestige Class.
There are a very limited number of Classes available. Note that other Prestige Classes can be found within the campaign as NPCs but are not available to Player Characters because they are too rare, do not fit the campaign, are too powerful, or are evil. The following Prestige Classes may be selected by PCs:
ARCANE ARCHER (DMG)
Prerequisites
Elf or Half-elf
Base Attack Bonus +6
Ability to cast 1st level Arcane Spells
Must have the following feats:
Point Blank Shot
Precise Shot
Weapon Focus (longbow or shortbow)
Generally an 8th Level Elven Bard or 12th Level Wizard/Sorceror can be eligible to become an Arcane Archer.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Magic Arrows (imbue powerful magical special abilities to arrows)
ARCHMAGE (DMG)
Prerequisites
Knowledge (Arcana) 15 ranks
Spellcraft 15 ranks
Ability to cast 7th level Arcane Spells
Knowledge of 5th level spells from 5 or more schools.
Must have the following feat:
Skill Focus (Spellcraft)
Spell Focus in at least 2 schools of Arcane Magic
Generally an 14th Level Sorcerer or 13th Level Wizard can be eligible to become an Archmage.
Special Prestige Class Features:
High Arcana (Very powerful meta-magic-feat like abilities)
HIEROPHANT (DMG)
Prerequisites
Knowledge (Religion) 15 ranks
Ability to cast 7th level Divine Spells
Must have the following feat:
Any Metamagic Feat
Generally a 13th Level Cleric or Druid can be eligible to become a Hierophant.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains a variety of powerful spell-like abilities.
THIEF-ACROBAT (Complete Adventurer)
Prerequisites
Balance 8 ranks
Climb 8 ranks
Jump 8 ranks
Tumble 8 ranks
Must have the following:
Evasion Class Feature
Generally a 5th Level Rogue or Monk can be eligible to become a Thief-Acrobat.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains enhanced acrobatic and agility-based special feats.
VIGILANTE (Complete Adventurer)
Prerequisites
Base Attack Bonus +4
Gather Information 8 ranks
Intimidate 4 ranks
Knowledge (local) 8 ranks
Search 4 ranks
Sense Motive 8 ranks
Must have the following Feats:
Alertness
Generally a 5th Level Rogue or Bard, or any other class at 13th level, can be eligible to become a Vigilante.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains limited spell use and a number of "investigative/street-smart" special feats
EFFIGY MASTER (Complete Arcane)
Prerequisites
Craft (leather metal or wood) 10 ranks
Knowledge (arcana) 5 ranks
Spellcraft 5 ranks
Use Magic Device 2 ranks
Must have the Simulacrum spell on a class spell list (does not need to be known or be able to be cast)
Must have the following feats:
Craft Wondrous Item
Generally a 7th Level Wizard or Sorceror can be eligible to become an Effigy Master.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Ability to create EFFIGIES (a special type of construct).
DIVINE CRUSADER (Complete Divine)
Prerequisites
Alignment must match that of chosen Deity
Base Attack Bonus +7
Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks
Must have the following feats:
Weapon Focus (Chosen Deity's favoured weapon)
Generally a 7th Level Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, or Barbarian, a 10th Level Rogue, Bard, Cleric, Monk, or Druid, or a 14th Level Sorcerer or Wizard can be eligible to become a Divine Crusader.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains spells and special resistances.
SHINING BLADE OF HEIRONEOUS (Complete Divine)
Prerequisites
Lawful Good Alignment
Base Attack Bonus +7
Base Will Save +3
Knowledge (religion) 7 ranks
Able to cast 1st level divine spells
Must worship Heironeous as Patron Deity
Generally a 10th Level Cleric or a 9th Level Paladin or Ranger can be eligible to become an Shining Blade of Heironeous.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Imbue his or her sword with special magical combat abilities.
WARPRIEST (Complete Divine)
Prerequisites
Base Attack Bonus +5
Diplomacy 8 ranks
Sense Motive 5 ranks
Ability to Cast Divine spells from at least one of the following domain spell lists: Destruction, Protection, Strength, or War
Ability to Turn or Rebuke Undead
Must have the following feats:
Combat Casting
Generally a 7th Level Cleric can be eligible to become a WarPriest.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains mass-combat special abilities (mass-cure, fear aura, rally, and many others).
RADIANT SERVANT OF PELOR (Complete Divine)
Prerequisites
Neutral Good Alignement
Base Will Save +5
Must worship Pelor as Patron Deity
Heal 5 ranks
Knowledge (religion) 9 ranks
Able to cast 1st level divine spells and have access to Sun Domain Spells
Must have the following feats:
Extra Turning
Generally an 7th Level Cleric can be eligible to become a Radiant Servant of Pelor.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Improved undead turning and several magical healing enhancements.
GNOME GIANT SLAYER (Complete Warrior)
Prerequisites
Base Attack Bonus +5
Race: Gnome
Escape Artist 3 ranks
Tumble 3 ranks
Speak Language (Giant)
Must have the following feats:
Dodge
Mobility
Spring Attack
Generally a 5th Level Fighter or 7th Level Rogue or Bard can be eligible to become an Gnome Giant Slayer (But virtually all Classes can qualify at various levels).
Special Prestige Class Features:
Bonus Feats geared to fighting Giant-Class creatures.
HUNTER OF THE DEAD (Complete Warrior)
Prerequisites
Base Attack Bonus +5
Knowledge (religion) 5 ranks
Ability to Turn Undead
Generally a 7th Level Cleric or 5th Level Paladin can be eligible to become a Hunter of the Dead.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Extra spell casting, enhanced attacks and protection against undead.
ORDER OF THE BOW INITIATE (Complete Warrior)
Prerequisites
Base Attack Bonus +5
Craft (Bow) 5 ranks
Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks
Must have the following feats:
Point Blank Shot
Precise Shot
Rapid Shot
Weapon Focus (bow type)
Generally a 5th Level Fighter, 6th Level Ranger, or 7th Level Rogue/Bard can be eligible to become an Order of the Bow Initiate.
Special Prestige Class Features:
Gains several powerful bow-specific combat specialty feats.
FEATS
Unless indicated in one of the above Prestige Class descriptions, only Feats from the Player's Handbook 3.5 Edition are available to PCs.
