Cassie, the tree-hugging, animal loving, ecology conscious, Animorph is usualy able to get any morphs for the young heros. Her parents are both vets. (One runs the Wildlife Rehab. Center in her barn and the other works at a big zoo.) Cassie cares a lot for Jake (as in likes Jake.) She is also Rachel's best friend, although have very little in common.
Cassie is usually slow to make decision, especially when her decisions may get someone killed. She quit the Animorphs in Book 19: The Departure, but returned. She is the heart of the Animorphs and even the author cannot imagine life without Cassie.
