Marco, the reluctant and egotistical Animorph, has, aside from Tobias, paid the highest price in the Yeerk war. His mother is Visser One, a high ranking controller. He didn't find out for almost a year after she died, but still he dreams of freeing her.
Marco is best friends with Jake. He is usually sparing with Rachel. He makes jokes about everything! The Animorphs could be headed to the Yeerk home planet on Visser Three's Blade Ship, and he would make a joke!
