As a child Ri'Par and his younger brother Kyron were
stationed aboard their Father's ship,the IKV Malice.During
an attack on a Gorn ship in Klingon territory,it was noticed
that the Gorn ship was equipped with a then unknown
technology.It was learned years later that the Gorn ship
was actually a Borg assimilated vessel.The ship was boarded
and Ri'Par,facing death and as far as he knew,the only
Klingon left alive,ordered self destruct in a effort to
take the enhanced Gorn with him to the afterlife.As the
attack cruiser was destroyed,Ri'Par was taken from the ship
by a Q entity.Wanting revenge in the worst way,Ri'Par
convinced the Q to allow him to possess the ability to "hear"
Borg thoughts in a attempt to use their technology against
them without being affected by the Collective.Ri'Par learned years later that his younger sibling
was also taken from the fray and trained in a mysterious
religion to help him in his revenge plot also.
Ri'Par's hatred/fascination and dangerous
curiousity with the Borg and Borg technology used to keep him on the brink of insanity but he has learned to control it over the years.Ri'Par is most grounded
when engaged in battle or modifying the IKV Bayou Serpent with
Borg technology which he has come to understand quite
extensively.Most weaponry and shielding aboard the IKV
Bayou Serpent has been modified in some way by Ri'Par,a
fact which most races fear and despise.Ri'Par served as Tactical officer onboard the IKV Bayou Serpent for a year before being promoted to Executive Officer.He served as both XO and Tactical for a while before being promoted to ship commander after the previous commander,HaQ,transferred to another fleet.Ri'Par turned the ship over to K'Allen for a while after being promoted to Quadrant commander but gave the job up to get the ship back. Ri'Par's influence has become so far flung that he now serves as executive officer of the Cold Terror Fleet in addition to commanding the ship.
