How the Producers Ruined EFC

All right, now I know that I've said that I wasn't going to update this page anymore, but soon after I closed it down, I visited the ol' PS forums, kind of like just one last kick before I abandoned the thing entirely. Here is where I find out that Da'an has been booted. Da'an. Da'an is gone. Leni Parker, is gone. I have only one question. Are the producers OUT OF THEIR MINDS?!?!?! What in the Void were they thinking?! I mean, come on, this is Da'an. Boone, he was great, everyone loved him, but the main reason most people watch this show is for Da'an. Da'an is EFC. Without Da'an, there is no show. Do TPTB actually believe that viewers want to watch The Renee Palmer Show? Do they believe that we care about Augur and his little multi-dimensional friend who goes into epileptic seizures when she sees strobe lights and has the mental delusion to pass it off as a vision of some sort? Do they really even care what the fan base wants?

Like I've said, I've stuck around for a long time. And I've come to the conclusion that they don't. They really just don't care. Leni Parker made EFC, she made the Taelons, heck, she even trained the new actresses coming in, in Taelon hand movements. Why would they even consider taking away such an integral part of the show? I can only say that killing off Da'an was signing the death certificate of the show. It was hard enough sustaining the show with eye-candy that had no other purpose other than to look pretty. (Anyone remember Maiya?) But, now that they've killed off every original character, except Augur, but he's changed so much from his original character, that I can't even consider him the same person. Yeah, some people cry out, "Well, that's character development!" And I say, you don't go reaching out to some two-year-old for moral and emotional support because your crush bites the dust. Especially Augur. He wasn't that type of character. He was selfish, greedy, and basically out for himself. He wasn't the type to open himself, and getting an emotional blow like that wouldn't make him bare his soul. Especially to someone he just met.

But, I'm rambling. The only point I wanted to make when I started this was that killing off Da'an is perhaps the stupidest thing the producers have ever done. And if I had harbored any doubts about not watching the show anymore, they've just been dashed. Da'an was the only reason I watched. Da'an was the only reason I kept watching. And now, Da'an is the reason I will never watch again.

Leni, if you read this, good job. You are an excellent actress, and don't let EFC set you back. Your character of Da'an touched me in so many ways... Thank you. Go on to something bigger and better. And don't look back. EFC isn't worth your time and talent.
