Listen Up

Music has always been very important to me. I started playing the guitar in '85. Unfortunately I don't have the time to play as much as I used to. I haven't written anything in quite a while. But I still manage to play when I need an emotional release.

For the most part I like anyone who has enough talent to do something other than plugging in the drum machine and rhyming. A few of my favorite bands/artists are Megadeth, Metallica, Al Dimeola, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Tori Amos, Prodigy, Joe Satriani, Alanis Morrisette, Dream Theater, Staind, and FFH. I pretty much listen to anything from Frank Sintra to Slayer, Classical to Eastern, in order to broaden my horizons. Its very easy to pick out bands that have primarily listened to one type of music.

Dislikes: Most rap, Boy Bands, American Idol releases (People really buy this crap? The human race never ceases to amaze me!) any "speed/death/etc. metal" where the vocalist has a range of 1/2 octave and the tempo is always prestissimo.
