Gunhild Jonson

This page is all about my mother, Gunhild Jonson, who died in cancer in 1996.
I know that there are a lot of us out there missing her a lot. I miss her so much that my heart can barely stand the pain.
I don’t really know what to write here, so I’m asking you, her family and friends, to help me fill this site with memories. We all know that she did a lot of crazy stuff, and I think that it would be a good idea to put some of them here.

Gunhild, Margareta, Jonson was born on January 13’th in 1952 as the daughter of Linnéa and Sigvard Jonson, and as the younger sister of Mats.

This space will later on be filled with information about Gunhild's childhood and also guide you through her life up till the time when she passed on.

A lot of you know her as the crazy microbiologist, totally absorbed with the wondrous world of the colera virus. Some of you even know her as a "keyharper".

I know her as my mother. She was just as crazy at home though! :o)

Even though she was a total workaholic, like most scientists, she was the best mum two girls could ever wish for, and I think that I can speak for both me and my sister, Karin, when I say that we both miss her terribly.
