A little bit about me -
I'm 18 years old. My name is Clint McLean. I'm currently attending school at the College of Charleston, in South Carolina. I have many many hobbies...I think. I love to mountain bike, write music, and play guitar. I'm currently learning how to Surf. I hope to do good with that. I love the water, the beach, the girls =o) so I figured, why not? I love music with all my heart and soul, but I hate teeny boppers. Well, just when it comes to music because 99% of the time they aren't really listening to the music, they're staring at someone's butt...or another part of their anatomy. But other wise I like them, because they're usually cute teenage girls. If I'm offending anyone I'm sorry. I'm just messing around. Ok? I'm a recent graduate of Hilton Head High School, c/o 2001. I can't really think of anything else to say on here, so if you have any questions just email me, I'm quite talkative. And I'll also try to answer any questions you have.
Third Eye Blind According To Me (this was written before Kevin got the
boot)-
Plain and simple, I think these four guys are the most kick-ass combination
ever put together to make a band. And there is a reason for this: The way
they put their music and lyrics together in their songs. Take a band like
Everclear (also an awesome band, I love them), their lyrics are very meaningful,
but there isn't that much you can do on a song with just one guitar, a bass,
and drums (Yes, I know about their touring guitarist). But when you've got
that "dedicated guitarist" (Kevin), that opens up many great things in the
music area. Now take a band like Bush (not Gavin, but Bush), their lyrics
are a pain in the @$$ to decipher (try to understand Bonedriven...), but
they sound awesome (Nigel w/ his weird amp-feedback stuff). You put the two
bands together, you've pretty much have Third Eye Blind. Meaningful lyrics
and moving music. Very hard combination to come by. Something I must admit,
as far as music goes, Kevin Cadogan is my guitar hero. If you didn't know
that already, as I have a complete page dedicated to him. He kicks so much
ass (third time I've used that word, anyone else notice that?). I absolutely
love the pre-chorus of God Of Wine with the octaves and bend.. Oh, and you
can't forget the fact that he co-wrote 10 of the songs on the Third Eye Blind
debut album and many on the new album (I'm an aspiring song writer/guitarist.
I'm going to put some of my songs on here at a later date). Did anyone else
know that he at one time got lessons from the great Joe Satriani?

Ain't I Purdy? =o) (Webmaster note: You never saw these pictures, ok? They are really really bad, which is the reason why I put them there. Why? I'm noty sure.
