...more thoughts on ESP
Recently on the Discovery Channel, MythBusters* explored an old tale going back to the 1970s of how plants, when attached to a lie detector, will respond to thoughts directed to them.  People love and talk to their plants to help them grow or so the story goes.

The theory that all things are connected in some way goes back probably as far as man has been aware of the world around him.  There is a special connection to nature that can be felt at times when we "commune" with it through meditation or some moment of peace.

The experiment was to attempt to prove that all things are connected.  The first thing was to attach the lie detector to a plant and do minor damage to it and see if there was a reaction on the lie detector.  There was some kind of reaction to everything they did to the plant during the experiment.  Even when the experimenter directed mean and destructive thoughts, the plant responded with a blip on the detector.

Then the experimenters went off the track and began trying to get cells and other odd stuff to react to thoughts.  They brought in a EEG machine to try that and had negative results.  Once they failed to prove that everything didn't respond, their flawed conclusion was that nothing was connected and they called it a Bust!

This conclusion failed to accept that the plant responded to human thoughts.  It was sort of brushed aside as an anomaly because all of the other non-related tests failed.  I strongly disagree with them.  Their skepticism hindered their spiritual vision.

Whatever else they may have done trying to prove that everything is connected, the one experiment showed some weird connection between plants and human. Carrying that into the psychic realm, we have to believe that there is a means of communicating between living things.  We may not be able to capture the signal yet but we can see the results.

We can see things and communicate with others through some means yet not measured.  Like radio transmitters and receivers we can reach a variety of people and events.  Not everyone is on the same frequency.  Have you ever met someone and instantly felt a kinship?  Have you ever wondered how a cultural mood may change in what seems to be a matter of hours or days?  Sometimes it is media manipulation and other times the sense of change seems sweeps across the land as if by magic.  There are more detailed opinions in the "Opinions and Mad Thoughts" section.

Even my Yorkies are psychic.  I can be in my recliner and decide to get up and go outside or take a ride somewhere and they get up and go to the door to wait.  There are many instances of their reacting to me or my wife before it is spoken about.

What are your everyday stories?  When has your psychic center surprised you?
