Are Aliens Among Us?
Are aliens living amongst us? If so, are they Observers or Meddlers? Would they perhaps be the "Immortals" spoken of in ancient legends?
Observers could be living next door to you while just sitting back watching and reporting on our planet's evolution to the home office. Although we like to think that observers wouldn't interfere with anything, the very fact of their existence on this planet would cause interference with the future. By using our space to live, interacting with people on any scale, and using Earth's resources, the future is altered.
Meddlers would be the teachers. A push here and a nudge there to help the species along to whatever future is planned. Finding the human with enough brain capacity to hold the next great invention or theory would be an interesting part of the job. They might have to alter a little DNA structure along the way.
A list was published a few years ago that pointed out the continuity of birthdays of famous and important people of the past. We don't have the list now but maybe one of our readers will dig it up and forward it to us. It seemed like the world didn't hardly have a chance to catch its breath between the death of one big contributor and the birth of another. Coincidence? Hard to tell.
Some of their social experiments may go awry and cause a war or two, or the wars could be the experiment itself.
Aliens may be benevolent with the goal of helping us evolve into better creatures. Then again, they may be like us with good guys and bad guys, leaders and followers, and people who might start wars on a dare or to provide entertainment to the folks back home.
