Do crystals of various substances hold magical powers?  There may not be a  crystal magic as such but there is a energy in the universe that can be tapped into that some folks might call magic.   Crystals could be a focal point for the spiritual energy that surrounds us and people who feel the power when holding a crystal may have found one that resonates at "their" natural frequency.  They may become attuned to a spiritual power that others can't feel.   They are worn around the neck.  They become decorations in the home.  People go on endless searches for the perfect crystal.

     The perfectly round and clear crystal ball that is manufactured doesn't have the power of pure quartz crystal.  That kind of crystal ball would become a point of focus for someone entering a trance or meditating.  In that respect only, it is quite useful.

     A chunk of pure quartz crystal has a natural resonance that helps amplify energy so the vision of the mystic with his hands around a large quartz crystal has more validity than one of him holding a round glass ball.  For that reason, each crystal reacts in a different way with each user.  If you find your crystal and feel the energy flow there is a good chance that it wouldn't work for me.   I've got to find my own.

     Skeptics pooh-pooh the idea of crystals for good reason on their part.  They can't feel it.  They can't honestly explore it because they have locked their minds against the unknown.  They can't measure it because technological man hasn't developed the instruments to measure it.  We don't even know what it is but if you have ever felt the power you know that others who haven't felt it can never understand it.

     If the veils of time and space can be penetrated by man to see into the past or the future, the crystal may provide the window for the seer.
