Psychic Monitors
Would you brag if you had some well developed form of ESP?
Think about it. There are showmen who appear to have mind reading abilities but we all know it is just illusion. There are cons everywhere trying to get you to part with a few bucks with promises of endless power. There are some really good psychics who have enough ability to offer a good reading. But where are the truly powerful individuals?
There are people who write books and produce videos detailing techniques to help you along on your quest for mental development. They are like you and me in that they may have touched the edges of the force but have never been strong enough to utilize it for anything of major value.
The truth is that if you truly had such immense capabilities, would you dare go live with it? Perhaps there are "monitors" (We can call them the "Thought Monitors") out there listening in the ether for people who truly have the true and more powerful gift. They wouldn't or couldn't advertise the ability, just be there to recruit new members when they reached a given point of strength.
The monitors may be an independent group or work for some government or most likely, if they are truly gifted, have their own secret worldwide network to make things happen as they want them to. In other words, a secret, ruling class world government.
