Questions For Us To Ponder
Did the human species evolve from apes?
Was natural selection or even accidental selection the basis for the bipedal ape men to take over the world?
Did some great catastrophe befall the world that may have caused genetic mutations in the inhabitants, therefore bringing about modern man?
Did the earth, on its infinite voyage through space (You do realize that we are moving through space at a speed of about 67,000 mph, don't you?) pass through a cloud of gas or particles or perhaps a radiation field that altered the environment and forced a change in evolution that brought about the human species?
Where did the speed of 67,000 mph come from for our movement through space? Speed is relative, so this speed is measured relative to something else. What? Anything we measure speed in space against wouldn't be sitting still so how can we calculate speed? I have also seen the speed of 40,000 mph so it must have been measured against another body.
Did space people stop for awhile on our little oasis and manipulate a few genes to improve the lot of the poor knuckle walkers?
Are the legends of the Gods related to the beings that brought us out of the jungle and "made" us human?
As our galaxy rotates and the stars orbit the center of the galaxy every couple hundred thousand years, wouldn't we have galactic seasons much as we have seasons on earth as we orbit the sun? We can calculate the time for a galactic orbit but nothing but speculation can prepare us for the real events that occur to us in the course of a galactic year. Have we had multiple civilizations on our journey and only the wisps of memories remain as in the ancient legends that have been handed down for immeasurable generations?
The Discovery Channel recently broadcast a wonderful show, "Humans: Who Are We?". If you didn't see it, try to find it somewhere. On this show one of the speakers suggested that mankind has reached the end of the evolutionary line. I thought he had quit thinking and maybe evolving about that time. But not the rest of us. We have a long way to go and are on the verge right now of moving to another level. What do you think?
Ancient Astrology is based on our orbit around the galaxy. Where in the world would the early civilizations gain that knowledge to map that kind of journey?
Have you seen the whole picture of the Cydonia Plain on Mars with all of the pyramids? If you have just seen the picture of the face and believe the hype of people who say it is nothing, then find the picture that covers the plain which includes the face and the pyramids and think about it again. Read "The Monuments Of Mars" by Richard Hoagland for a better understanding of the plain.
We believe that some really strange and magnificent things are yet to be uncovered in our search for truth. What do you think?
