Time Scanner
Ever wonder what the world was like a 1,000 or 100,000 or 100,000,000 years ago? Well, I do and I want my "Time Scanner" so I can come home after a difficult day at work and unwind by sitting at my "Time Scanner" console and scanning through the past just as I would browse the web or scan frequencies on a police band radio.
To do this we would need to have a better understanding of the mechanics of time flow. Is it, "Poof", gone once it has happened, never to be seen again? Do we leave the past behind in waves of light and energy as the world hurls through space at breakneck speeds? Is all time surrounding us and we only need to learn to brush aside the veils to see the past?
Never mind the theories. Someone, probably sitting in a 2nd grade classroom at this very moment, will figure it out before 2020. Focus on the image of being able to watch the dinosaurs come and go and the great land mass shifts and the early versions of us and all the civilizations of the distant and forgotten past fill your 6 foot monitor!
