RETURN OF THE PRESENT MOMENT

A 3-D Version of a Galactic Alignment Story

It’s now the week after Easter 2009 and this is my first return to the www after about 10 years of silence. It was at that time that I removed over 100 pages from a web site that I had created called the Present Moment. I was not happy with what I saw happening with the information I was sharing freely. These days I can cruise around YouTube and watch native Maya tour guides talking to tourists at Maya sacred sites in Guatemala and using my material about the decoding of the Great Seal of the United States with the Maya Calendar. I also am realizing in 3-D, the intention I had formulated around 1995, of getting the word out about the galactic alignment to at least one million people. Just Google: galactic alignment and see for yourself. What is of serious concern to me is that the galactic alignment happened between 1998 and 2001 and that now, after the fact, it is being falsely used to justify the end of the Maya calendar in 2012. The reason this is important is because we are discussing the use of codes. For you to call and “connect” with someone via a cell phone, for example, you need to enter the correct code, in numbers, in the correct order within a specific amount of time or else … no connection. In order to get “on-line”, specific “codes” are required.

The codes embedded within an authentic version of the Maya calendar work to access human consciousness to a specific spiritual pathway in consciousness and “connect” with what, for now, we’ll call “galactic” consciousness. This was the intention of the design and revealing of the Maya calendar to humanity. Humanity has now reached the stage in our pre-planned evolution of the possibility of becoming a galactic race of beings, if all goes as planned. This potential was seeded in the Maya culture circa 500 A.D. and is scheduled to begin sprouting through our species circa 1995-2012. How do we know there is a plan? Because this plan has a specific schedule for its completion; i.e. the Maya calendar or maybe better revealed as Maya’s calendar. Good questions at this stage of the game are: What’s the plan and whose plan is it? What choices do we have between now and the end of the calendar/schedule in late 2012?

To make this all a little easier to understand, I feel I need to tell the story of what happened with me the afternoon of August 17, 1987, and shortly afterward. For six months prior, I was feeling the new energies associated with the Harmonic Convergence planned for August 16-17, 1987. It was like nothing I had ever felt before and it was so exciting, that I devoted my life to this new awakening. I had done the astrology chart for sunrise of that date, after getting the data from astrologer Edwin Steinbrecher, possibly as early as 1980. This was many years before I had encountered the work or person of Jose’ Arguelles in 1986.

As I was feeling the new energies in 1987, I brought out for study the chart that was titled: End of the World. What was so remarkable about that date astrologically was that it was the first time I’d ever seen, in the history of humanity, an alignment between the three levels of astrology: planetary, stellar and galactic. This suggested the “beginning” of an influx of information from the galaxy, through the stars and planets into our 3-D experience of reality. There were other astrologers who wrote about the Grand Trine at that time and also the Sun/Venus conjunction near the star Regulus. I was certain that I was the Star Trek astrologer of our time, having gone where no astrologer had gone before. I was asked to do two sidebars for the definitive interview with Jose’ Arguelles in Meditation magazine. This was where I first gave a hint about the galactic alignment and its relationship to the 13th constellation and 2012. Now imagine how I must have felt, when on the afternoon of August 17, 1987, when I came down from the gathering atop Haleakala Crater in Hawaii, to find the headline of the local Maui paper state: “Planets Fail to Align for Convergence.”

I got the writer of the article on the phone and he passed the buck to the astronomer he consulted from the University of Maryland, John Carleson. I also got him on the phone and after he made jokes about hippies making love in the woods and how the planets were not precisely aligned enough to be considered a Grand Trine, I got off the phone still feeling very upset and confused. I returned to the mountain top in vision questing mode, a spiritualized version of WTF running through my consciousness. The “message” I received from “spirit” that day was something like, “Your responsibility is to carry the vision of what was shown to you. Sharing pieces of your vision with others is not responsible. It is an attempt to have others carry for you, your vision.” After this, I felt a little better and starting talking a lot less about my galactic astrological insights. The message really sunk in about 13-years later. I then removed my web sight from public view in 1999.

My decision to stay quiet was reinforced when I encountered a book called the Galactic Alignment circa 2003. My first reaction when I looked at the cover was, “Didn’t I coin this phrase?” I carefully examined its contents. I found page after page of information that can been appropriated from my web pages. What I realized was that this highly motivated person did not understand the codes he lifted from my work as they had lost their integrity when lifted out of context. It became clear to me that this author lacked the fundamental awareness needed to understand the Maya calendar, the galactic alignment and 2012. He may have been intuitive enough to sense the clues, but he knew not what he was dealing with. I decided then and there that until I found an effective way of sharing the codes, I would not write about them again. I followed the indigenous way of sharing with those who approached with respect and the proper offerings, orally; with the breath and with Aloha, unconditional love.

The Matrix was the first movie I bought on DVD and I watched it a lot. It started dawning on me that astrology, as commonly understood, was the programming of a person’s Matrix identity, their Mr. Anderson. I immediately quit doing that kind of astrology and several years later found what I called the “red pill” approach, finding the person in the “real world”. I found this in the secret, inner layers of the Maya calendar. The Maya system still had the “13” in it and was not corrupted, as was the Babylon-based 12-sign zodiac systems. I later realized that what people saw as the Maya calendar was actually an outer shell covering the deeper inner codes which had to do with the secret cycles of the planet Venus, or simply stated, love. Here was a spiritual technology that enabled human consciousness to access love in every moment. This is not something you’ll find on the Internet or in the books about 2012. The real code is 2013.

From 2004 through 2007, I used the inner Maya calendar as a spiritual practice while living unplugged (no car, no phone, no media, etc.) in the tropical environs of 19.5, the Big Island of Hawaii. This was one of the most profound spiritual times of my life and I now know, from the inside out, what this system can do. In 2007, friends started sharing with me new videos and books about the Maya calendar and 2012. After four years of retreat, I felt compelled to return to the “world” and the mainland and share some authentic insights and initiations, as an alternative to what I called the hyperbolic stupidity about 2012. I pondered over how I may have unintentionally contributed to it.

From late 2007 through the end of 2008, I went through 120 years of scholarly research about the Maya calendar. It was most interesting to read the earliest researchers from the late 1880’s and early 1900’s and understand how their speculations and ideas evolved into the current dogma of what the Maya calendar is. I found even more compelling the recognition of what they did not see or understand due to their lack of astrological training and their spiritual naivety. It is crucial in my mind to distinguish the Mayanist calendar, conceptualized by modern researchers and the authentic Maya calendar itself. Terms like tzolkin and baktun were coined by the Mayanists and even the Long Count, considered as the key to 2012, is a modern invention. The real astrology of 2012 has yet to be revealed.

One of the three Maya codices that survived the book burnings of the 16th century Spanish invasion is commonly referred to as the Dresden Codex. Its actual name is the Book of Light and it is the source document for what is now commonly understood as the Maya calendar. The so-called Venus, Eclipse and Serpent Number tables in the codex are still unsolved mysteries. Due to its profound astrological and magical nature, it has yet to be understood by modern researchers, either academic or New Age. What it says about 2012 has yet to be revealed. This codex is recognized as the oldest book written in the Americas and when its contents are insightfully considered, it may be the most dangerous book in the world; a serious threat to those who wish to keep humanity ignorant and distracted.

I have recently attempted to update Wikipedia about 2012, the galactic alignment and the Maya calendar. All of my contributions are consistently edited away. So it is. Here they are anyway.

Now, in the name of Love, I have decided to share with all of you …

the Return of the Present Moment. Welcome aboard.
