When Megatron came to Cybertron, he began his domination of Cybertron by spreading a deadly virus across the planet. This virus brought Cybertron to a standstill as it paralysed almost every single Transformer. The Transformer bodies were then rounded up by Megatron's mindless drones, the Vehicons, and their Sparks extracted. Rather than establishing himself as a mere dictator, Megatron also declared himself as Cybertron's saviour. His ultimate goal is to purge Cybertron of all individual thought and free will, leaving only his single mind to control Cybertron. His other objective is to rid Cybertron of any organic matter. He considers the techno-organic Maximals to be a plague upon Cybertron. 

And so a new war rages across the planet Cybertron... which side shall victor? Only time will tell.....
