BLACKARACHNIA

*Profile: Blackarachnia was originally a Maximal Protoform but was taken by Predacon forces before she could become a full Maximal. She was reprogrammed and given a beast mode by the mad scientist Tarantulas. Her form was chosen by him in a rather self serving move. Blackarachnia is dangerously intelligent and posseses an incredible battle prowess. This makes her a potentially dangerous enemy to whomever crosses her path. 

For a brief time, Tarantulas managed to get into Blackarachnia's mind, controlling her even once he gained a new body. It was through Blackarachnia's intelligence, strong will and sheer determination that she regained her freedom of mind and self control. 

Blackarachnia remained a Predacon, but joined the Maximal ranks when Megatron's plans threatened her existence. She also became romantically involved with the Maximal Siverbolt who helped influence her change in allegiance. Blackarachnia continues to have her own agenda however, but has helped the Maximals from time to time as an ally.

Upon joining the Maximals, Blackarachnia's faith in her choice was tested as she tried her best to gain the trust of the Maximals. Despite aiding the Maximals, Blackarachnia continued her own personal plans.

Among those plans was to acquire more power for herself. Having seen the likes of Megatron and Optimus Primal undergo the "Transmetal" process, she acquired the Transmetal 2 driver and proceeded to use it on herself, causing her body to change into a new, more powerful form! It was during this process that her programming changed slightly as well, which has changed Blackarachnia into one of the newest members of the Maximals!
