This ship was first seen in "Star
Trek III: The Search for Spock". The design quickly became a fan favorite
and would appear in 4 additional films, and numerous episodes of The
Next Generation, and Deep Space Nine. The model itself was one
of the best to come out if the Star Trek line from Ertl. The model could
be built in either attack (such as mine is) or flight mode (with the wings
straight to the horizonal). The model has a great deal of detail and the
smaller size opf the ship along with the fact that ithas trhe ability to
land on ther surface provides the opportunity to do some nice weathering
that would be out of place on most Star Trek ships.
