Squirrel: Greetings, fellow philes! First, before we begin our reviews, two quick bits. First, go check out this url: http://geocities.datacellar.net/Hollywood/8270/ - I didn't see the site before I saw this, but I really wish Fox wouldn't be that way. Second, a few weeks back we reviewed a site called The X-Files Alphabet Book. Well, just like they promised, they've moved! Their new site is finished, and it's really slick looking. Go check it out at http://www.thealph.com - congratulations are well-deserved by Simon, the Webmaster. And now on to our reviews…

Moose: Our first site, Post Modern Prometheus Lovin' Fools Posse (http://members.xoom.com/PMPLFP/) gets a seriously big nod from Moose here. Not just because it's devoted to one of the best episodes of the show (I would argue that selecting just one episode is a tough thing to do, and I would hesitate to make PMP the top choice), but because it has such a neat "down home" flavor to it. This is what I would expect to see someone from a town that ultimately showed a great deal of heart to produce.

S: When I first stumbled across this site, what impressed me most was its 'look' - it's beautiful in black and white and all the subtle shades of gray in-between. The fonts, graphics and type all go together to create a seamless piece. A lovely site to look at - and very much reminiscent of the PMP episode itself.

M: Warning, there is a bit of a spoiler here, although it's from the legends that have developed from the show and not a spoiler of the show itself.

S: And one personal disappointment - there's a link in 'The Barn' that's incorrect; so we don't get to see the dance scene from PMP, afterall…

M: I haven't quite decided to add myself to the guest book, only because I haven't thought of the right title to get, but it's neat to see an interactive part of this thing. The site has a fair selection of pics, fan fiction and other items related to the show. And in keeping with the theme, it's visually and graphically pure and simple. I like this one a lot!

S: I like it, too. Apart from it's simple visual beauty, it's obvious the webmaster has spent a lot of time and care here. All you could ask for is more updates! more updates!

M: Got some bad news for you all. Did you know that the government is out to get us? It's true! For proof, let me point you to The Conspiracy: A Detailed Walkthrough For The X-Files Biggest Mysteries (http://members.aol.com/soundtrk50/conspiracy.html). The truth isn't out there, it's in here, and it's slick looking.

S: Yes, very nice, good graphics, nice pics. But maybe it's my eyes, but that 'X-Files' green is a little bit hard to read on the black…but it could just be the size of the type.

M: But it's not the looks of the site that you should go here for. This is probably one of the better thought out essays on "The Conspiracy" as we have all followed through the show. I don't agree with all of the author's conclusions (the aliens being immortal is the main one, for reasons I'll go into when space allows) but all of them are well reasoned. Nice photos and a good feel. Check your security clearance at the door and read this!

S: This is definitely a very large piece of work, extremely detailed and well-presented. Don't, I repeat, don't go here if you have not seen the sixth season. Frankly if you haven't seen the movie a lot of this won't make sense, either, but I think we've all seen the movie. This site contains absolute spoilers for Season Six, and You Have Been Warned.

Well, it's time to wrap this up, as Moose and I are off to see some silly movie that just opened. Email us at moosnsqril@aol.com with comments or site suggestions. See you next week!
