Dune Pictureses... The poor, poor movie.

Princess Irulan in her party outfit. Those poor butterflies.

I... love... the Spacing Guild... Their outfits RULE.

Feyd's quasi-ninja outfit. Note the triangular thing accenting his face. It's attached to the back of the outfit. *snickers*

I just staared when they first show him. This is NOT Hasimir Fenring. And the colors... They buuurn...

But, hark! The head of the Spacing Guild. *ogles happily* I have no idea why he entrances me so...

Perhaps it's the hand gestures...

The Guildmaster and Reverend Mother Mohiam. Yes, THAT Mohiam. *cowers* The headdresses scare meee...

How can she WALK in that thing? *stare*

Aha! And at last we get our first glimpse of the Harkonnen's! Directly ahead, the Baron. To the left, Rabban and Feyd. To the right with the papers, Piter.

The director must have a thing for scary headdresses. That's all there is to it.

The lurk is nice...

Piter and his little whirly toy. He stares at it for eight minutes straight while the Baron dishes out imporant plot points.

This... is... SO... not... Piter. *stares* He's far too tall and stocky. He talks and moves, when he moves, like he's been heavily sedated. And they weren't even trying to make him look or dress correctly. Rawr.

Vaguely cool moment 1 of 2. Injecting himself in the wrist with.. .something.

Looking vaguely insulted. The quote from the Baron says it all. In response to a dull, sedate observation from Piter that because Rabban tried to kill his son, Leto shall concievably become more defensive.

Hah! And he finally says something remotely intelligent!

At laast! SOMETHING from the book! Something in-character! Unfortunately, the look on Yueh's face and the Wannacicle in the background kill the moment. *snickers madly*

*snickers insanely* The facial expressions... The faacial expressions...

The Baron seems surprised. Perhaps because it's the first time Piter has moved quickly in the entire film. Actually, it's the first time he's moved at all. I'm reminded, oddly, of the COS line... "I didn't know you could read."

Piter smirking next to the drugged Duke Leto. Perhaps pleased to discover that his newfound mobility? We know how this ends...

...so I shall now conclude our tour of the atrociously done Dune remake. 1
