Title

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven from stone to stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight ends of the World. The moon was as blood, and the sun as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow, and the Breaking of the World. And they named him Dragon.

New: A complete description of the One Power!

Wow. Got an email from Geocities today, saying that if I didn't update my page in 30 days, it'd be deleted. Since I've got my own domain now (www.lethe.nl), I haven't used this site in years; I just checked the last update: November 2000! Still, it'd be a shame to take it down, though it's never actually been finished. But still.. another broken link on the internet. Seems sad. So that's why I'm writing this. ~Hannah Swain, 14 January 2004

Welcome to the Wheel of Time's Unofficial Virtual Library. Little fancy, you say? The name is explains exactly what the site is. It's about the Wheel of Time; it's unofficial, because, well, I'm the only one who recognizes it; it's virtual because it's on the internet- you can't actually touch the "books"; and it's a library because information is stored here. Got it? Good!

You should be able to find just about anything here, eventually. I mean, within reason . . . you're not likely to find the Horn of Valere, even though you might see a few Hunters. You get the idea. Things are being added fairly regularly.

This entire site is indexed, courtesy of FreeFind.com. In layman's terms, that means that all that you have to do is go to the little box at the bottom of the page, type in a word that you're looking for, and it'll tell you where, how many times, etc., it appears here at the Virtual Library. Magic? No, simply HTML.

Use the images at the side to navigate the site. If you have been here before, you'll know that used to be a frame, but I got rid of it for a number of reasons. Somewhere along the line, the graphic that I was using for an image map got corrupted, it took too long to load, not everybody can see frames, you get too many of those little pop-up boxes . . .the list goes on and on. Library Winner Whoops . . . seem to have lost the link!

Okay, I can already see you asking already. Yahoo!Geocities doesn't support the CL programs anymore. So now, we have our own Alliance, dedicated to helping people all over the 'net now! Check it out!

I'm honored that I got this citation, for being a CL:

Area51 Citation of the Black Rose

Area51 Community Leaders
