Hi!  Welcome to the Fantasy and Science Fiction Book Lovers Resource Page!

I have created this page, and its associated links, to share my love of this genre, to provide information and resources on my favorite authors and their work, to recommend related books and authors, and to organize some of the information on books and related resources to make it easier for everyone to explore and appreciate this fabulous world of imagination and adventure.

I was inspired to offer this for several reasons.  First, I love these books so much, and I love recommending my favorites to other people who enjoy this type of fiction -- and especially to people who are just discovering it!  So many times I have been able to point someone in a further direction by giving them info on "if you like this author, you'll probably also like this one".

Another purpose of my offering here is to help people navigate the worlds these authors have created by organizing the information on the books they've written, since a great many of these books are written as series.  Many times in the past I have bought a book that looked interesting, gotten home and sat down to read it, only to find I had book two of a trilogy, or the last book of a series that I had not read.  So I have organized the books by series, so you can get the first one first, or all at once, and know which series are from what world the author has created.  Where there are several series within the same world, I have tried to keep them chronological.

In addition to information on books and series, I'm also collecting other resources, such as Internet mailing lists based on an author, such as Anne McCaffrey or Mercedes Lackey, or the world they created, such as Pern or Valdemar.  If you have any information on such resources that I have not listed, feel free to email me with the info.  And if you have any other authors to recommend, I'd love to hear about them.

I also have a section on fiction based on the Arthurian legends, though they are probably not considered SciFi/Fantasy.  But Camelot also belongs to the world of imagination, and several authors have done a wonderful job of bringing Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin, Avalon and Camelot to life.

So welcome again, please browse through these pages of the creators of wonder and magic.  I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do!
