Back in early 1999, I discovered a universe full of friends, music, artistic wonders and magical worlds. I discovered online entertainment, friends, hilarious situations and new internet skills that I would never had expected from a simple 10 min download!

After clicking buttons on my toolbar wondering what this, that and the other did, I realised I was wandering around a desert island with the view of Tiki Bar in the distance. I was dressed as a tourist - you know how I mean - you would have spotted me a mile away and say to yourself "That's definitely a tourist!" I even had a camera slung round my neck.In the distance I could see a few people chatting, there was a relaxed atmosphere. I spoke up and that was then I realised how helpful the citizens of Outer Worlds were.

I must have spent all of half an hour discovering Outer Worlds before I made up my mind to become a citizen - and well, I'm still discovering more and more every time I visit Outer Worlds.

Let me explain exactly what Outerworlds is:- Outer Worlds is a 3D multi user chat system. Visit many wonderful and futeristic 3D worlds where you can interact in realtime with other citizens of Outer Worlds from anywhere in the world. Meet people and interact with them as a 3D, lifelike, animated figures. As you wander through futeristic, amazing worlds built by citizens. Use your earned Virtual Reality money to purchase your own land to build on yourself.

By building, I mean building! The software you download enables you to build anything that your mind can visualise, (using the objects provided - experts with their own worlds can even make of their own objects)By using your virtual reality money that you earn/win, plots of land may be brought to enable you to build on.Sounds weird I know, but it's all very well organised with relators selling you the land. You even have a virtual reality bank account so you can keep tabs on your bank balance!

Along with the usual chit chat and meeting people that you would expect with a chat programme, there is much more than meets the eye! Activities you can participate in, namely Outer Worlds Entertainment. This page shows the current schedule, places and times the entertainment is running. This is how virtual $'s are won.

Along with the quizes and games that are run, everyday radio shows are playing, run by the Outer Worlds DJ's. You only have to download winamp (the MP3 player) to receive the live streaming.
