What my kids are reading

My daughter, who will be 10 on Thanksgiving, is reading quite a few different books. (and where did she pick up that habit? I wonder...) The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, on my recommendation, and she's re-reading all her Junie B. Jones books. She's beyond them in skill but who doesn't love ol' Junie B.?

My 8 year old son is re-reading all the Magic Treehouse books in order. We read them separately and together all last year, and now he's reading them on his own.

Together we're reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. (I read the whole thing and refuse to tell them what's going to happen!)

And at the moment, I'm reading The Jericho Iteration by Allen Steele.

Fantastic Companions "Wings to Fly", my first published fiction, can be found in this wonderful anthology.
