In November of '03 Charlie and I, Lily and Gail, spent two days in London at the end of our Scotland trip. Before leaving home, my dad had given me four old drink coasters from four different London pubs. There were drawings of the pubs on them and very cryptic clues as to their whereabouts, so we decided to go on a kind of scavenger hunt to find the pubs! Our search took us all over London. It was great fun — we found them all and had a toast to my dad!
