Information Desk
Crazy Lizard Studios is currently staffed by four individuals; an idiot called Matthew J. McGowan, quite unnecessarily tall person Matthew Smith, woman Sarah Jacotine and professional vole-strangler Chris Christison. Here is some information. About them.
Matt McGowan
: Full-time comic book specialist(ie. he works in a comic book shop and wants to sound important!)"This website serves as a way of getting the art of studio staff members onto the internet and hopefully into the public eye. Crazy Lizard Studios is also the birthplace and home of Crazy Lizard. He's the studio mascot, and here you'll be able to view loads of artwork and hopefully an ongoing comicstrip he'll star in, telling of his adventures in a far off land.(That's if I can get off my ass and actually start it!). Also, if you the visitor want to send us artwork you've done of our characters, or have any ideas you'd like to share, let us know."
Matt Smith is a very nearly talented journalist on a regional newspaper, somewhere in the untamed wilds of Mid-Somerset, Englandland. In his spare time, he writes science-fiction and fantasy fiction, draws pictures of big scary (but strangely lovable) monsters, and enters descriptions of himself upon rather groovy webpages as though someone else were writing them. When he grows up, he would like to be an author. His favourite films include Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2 and That One With The Thing, Oh You Know, The Guy With The Chainsaw Where His Hand Should Be. He also likes crisps.
Sarah Jacotine
I'm probably the newest but oldest member of Crazy lizard Studios so far, having been the last to enter on this page but having been born first. Ahem.
I am 22 years old, an afficionado of anime and sci-fi type stuff, and daily make a valiant effort to divide at least 80% my time between being asleep and playing Final Fantasy games. Chocobos are good.
Chris Christison is a budding illustrator who prefers to write about himself in the third person. His principal influences include many American comic artists and designers, including J.Scott Campbell, Jim Lee, Joe Madureda and Bryan Hitch. He also draws inspiration from Japanese artists such as Masamune Shirow. He has major problems finding time to finish work, but delights in failing to complete as many projects as possible at the same time. Current work includes design and concepts for TWO comic titles that will probably never see the light of day.
