King Crabulus Cel

Now here’s something a bit special – courtesy of Scary Larry (AKA Larry Williams), what we have here is an authentic real-life animation cel featuring a redrawn and colourised version of King Crabulus. Through ingenious means, Larry has transferred the original piccy onto the cel, then painted it by hand and mounted it against an impossibly pretty undersea background, creating a remarkably atmospheric scene that could have come straight out of an actual cartoon. As a 2D image on a screen it’s fab, but take it from me, the genuine article is seriously fab. I’ve got this on my wall at home now.
