Jake

Do you remember when you were a rebellious teenager who nobody understood? Are you one now? Were you positive that your parents hated and despised you? Jake is one of those teenagers. In fact, he's a little different, for in his case, all of his adolescent paranoias are actually justified. Jake is a character from the sublimely surreal comic Accidental Enlightenment, in which a werewolf, a vampire, a prostitute and an angst-ridden teenager find themselves driving across America in a stolen station wagon charged with the protection of a newborn messiah, whilst attempting to avoid the attention of thugs, assassins, dead presidents, ninjas, space monkeys and inflatable rubber dinosaurs. (Jeez that was a long sentence.) The story and characters were concieved by myself and my good friend Andy Ovel, who I may one day encourage to write something on this site.
