Maitre de Chatouiller

Entry number two in the WFTF hall of fame was designed as an illustration for the Profiles page, and is a bit special because he was not only my original design, but also one of the central protagonists in the story that I wrote. Excitement!

Hailing from the fair city of Lyons in the south of France, the self-professed Master of Tickling (what 'Maitre de Chatouiller' translates as, you see. Aha!) is, as you can probably tell, an out-and-out bad guy - scheming, entirely charmless and not averse to beating opponents over the head with a cement-laden baguette when the referee has his back turned. I'm still jolly pleased with his finished look (appropriately slimy, I think), and I had great fun writing for him too - the idea of a French poodle wrestling a lion (no, really) just seemed wonderfully silly.
