Maxted the Mighty

Designed for a close personal lunatic by the name of Paul Maxted (bit of a giveaway, that), who was interested to see what he'd look like in furry form when clad in his battle re-enactment clobber (you know, where they all get kitted out like the Roundheads and the Cavaliers and crash about in a muddy field for an afternoon, allegedly as a means of bringing history to life for any interested spectators, but really as an excuse for going down the pub afterwards and getting as the newt). I felt he'd translate best as a hyena because, like him, they are as a species both tenacious and astonishingly resilient. And because they have a reputation for being utterly barking, and are invariably in desperate need of a shave.
