Anderson在九三年參與X檔案之後,平步青雲,先後取得兩個SAG獎,一個金球獎和一個最佳連續劇女演員的艾美獎.
很久以前,她在Manhattan Theater Club參與演出Alan Ayckborne的'Absent Friends',得到熱烈讚賞,並替她贏得Theatre World Award.她亦在Long Wharf Theater參與演出Christopher Hampton的The Philanthropist.
她在高中已對戲劇有濃厚的興趣.於是她在康乃爾大學的National Theatre of Great Britain讀戲劇,再在DePaul University的Goodman Theater School取得B.F.A.文憑.
Anderson有份演出的Freak the Mighty和Hellcab即將上畫.而她現在居於溫哥華和洛杉磯.
