| This Will be a section based on the rules and benefits of SLing. So what is an SL? An SL, which means Storyline, is an RP session or sessions where the characters interact with each other and NPC characters as well to work towards some purpose. Doesn't matter what the purpose is, it just needs a purpose, which must be stated before the log as well. Still interested? Read on! You may SL at any time, so long as you send a log to the forum head and have him send a receipt to you. The rules to this are simple. 1. You must keep logs of all your SL sessions. 2. If there is not a HC member there with you, you must first receive HC Pre-Approval, otherwise all SLs must be done in the precense of either a HC member, or a Quest Writer. There will be NO exceptions to this rule. 3. Anything done in the SL must be done in full consent of people beforehand if it is going to contain some adult content. If you can come up with good ideas, go with them but make sure to keep everything fair and fun for all. 4. Please don't cheat, it's not very nice. 5. There is a cap on the XP to gain from SLing. For each line outside of combat that you put out.. you gain 5xp with a max of 1000xp a post. Lines must be full for it to count. At least 90%.. 6. You can SL for a magical item or an enhancer. Any kind of request like that must be sent to Drizzt. He will send you a receipt for the item if it is accepted. Then you will need to add it to Profile after the SL. 7. If you die in an SL, unless stated so by the HC or Quest Writer or whomever is hosting an SL Session, you will not truly die. However, this will be taken into account and a number of things could happen to your character, depending of course, on the situation. For example, if you get killed by Orcs and it was not announced that it is fully a death, then maybe you will be taken back to the Orc encampment and another SL will have to take place. So it's a Win Win for all! 8. Don't be afraid to be inventive. As long as you have fun and do some purposeful RPing, you'll get rewarded. Any questions? Ask Drizzt |
