The USS Vichy is the Base Defense Vessel for the Starbase T'Plana-Hath.  She is assigned to short range defensive missions.   Many of her components are modular, and she can be internally configured and outfitted quickly to perform a variety of missions, from Marine Insertions to fast rescue or relief operations, as well as base defense.
