Starbuck's Fanfic of the Week
It has only been recently that I have allowed myself to indulge in what most Philes on the net have known about and relished (and possibly made contributions to) since the beginning of the X-Files. I lead a sheltered life, what can I say?
After spending hours pouring over dozens and dozens of fanfic stories, I found myself subjected to the good, the bad, and the ugly. There's a big range and it is hard to write great fanfic (trust me, I've tried). What I want to do is to highlight and promote the fanfic out there that is truly fabulous. There are some extremely talented writers out there who have their characterizations, their plotlines, their motivations down to a tee. Below is and will continue to be a growing collection of outstanding fanfic, updated weekly for your enjoyment. Think of it as a bottle of Evian: perfect, extremely enjoyable, and all the stuff that would have left a bad taste in your mouth has been filtered out already.
