|
|
The main story behind The Phantom Menace is the unexpected return of the Sith, an ancient force of evil that was in constant struggle with the Jedi. The Sith were supposedly destroyed more than a millenia ago. The Trade Federation also plays a key role because they are like the early Empire, with legions of droid armies they plan to conquer Naboo. The Naboo under the rule of Queen Amidala are trying to fight off the Trade Federation, but the Trade Federation have a blockade on their planet and their not allowing any ships go in or out without a fight. The two Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were sent to convince the Trade Federation to withdraw, but with no avail they seek to go to Coruscant. On the way however, they find a boy named Anakin who offers the Jedi his help. Thanks to this mysterious boy they make their way to Coruscant. But what will become of Anakin and the Jedi, and how will they destroy the Sith... |
