Who is nyx?

Many will never take the time to ask that question, or care for the answer. After all, this is not a page about an invidual but about a collective effort by slaves.. for slaves. But, for those of you that wonder and do not already know the answer, perhaps a small introduction would be appreciated.

On IRC some of you might know a girl as nyx, a slave most often found within the City of Ar. Owned by a wonderful Man and quite content to be a slave, as she was always meant to be. Some of that is reality, some of it is obviously not. A girl is most often know by the name meesha and she lives in the southern part of the United States. She gives herself to the One that many know owns her in every way, with a glad heart to do so. She has worked in various fields, everything from Adult Entertainment to Computer Technical Support. Her hobbies include the study of mythology and writing. A girl supposes she is much like many others, she is content with her lot.. she loves the Gorean Lifestyle and embraces in all parts of her life.

This one took her name from Greek Mythos, Nyx, the Goddess of Darkness and Chaos. Those of you that know a girl realise she is a goth and has a large vampire fetish as well. Perhaps that is not very Gorean, but who shall be the judge of what a person's heart, mind and belly leads them to do?

At any rate, this one has been involved in the Gorean Scene for approximately eight years now, three years of that has also been online. A girl knows that she has her faults. She has a problem with obedience with it goes against something she wishes to do. She has the temper of a she-tharlarion. She holds grudges for years until able to find a way to take revenge. None of those are good things in a slave and she strives to overcome these problems, perhaps someday she will manage to succeed. Noone is ever perfect, it is in the process of striving for perfection that we become better than we ever thought we could be.
