We have encountered a strange new planet. There is nothing on the stellar cartography charts of such a planet and it seems to have appeared out of nowhere. We are receiving a distress call from the surface. Our radars indicate there are many lifeforms present. I am transporting an Away Team led by Commander Riker to investigate this strange phenomenon.
