Chapter 16: Kuma?

Kuma had came back to life, but how. He died many years ago. A battle that lasted for nearly ten years. Going from place to place trying to stop him from taking over every demension imaginable.

At the common point of demensions, Kuma patiently awaited my arrival. Also waiting was an enormous army of hyenas. I transported near a hugh boulder and when I saw what I was up against, I ducked behind the boulder. When the time was right, I opened a gateway and walked in.

Another gateway opened near Kuma, he ordered his troops to surround the gateway and waited, with weapons ready, for my arrival. I arrived a moment later; I was surounded. Kuma gave the order to open fire; I ducked. The hyenas killed each other rather than me; I sighed.

"That's the problem with hyenas today," I told Kuma, "they blindly follow ordered without realizing the consequences."

"You're right, they are pretty stupid." Kuma chuckeled. "At least I don't need them to finish you off."

a battle broke out. In order for me to be evenly matched, I morphed into my lion form. It looked like I was about to finish this bout before in gets started, but Kuma got his 'second wind'.

My attacks were useless against him now, and to make matters worse, he countered every move I made. I summoned the newly aquired Olympic Armor and, once again, I had the advantage. But he started to overpower me again, and once he overpowered me, the armor was totalled.

I began to wounder why he was defeating me. I began to examine my opponent very carefully. There were gaps between the wrist and arm plates, the ankle and leg plates, and the waist and torso plate. His armor was designed to streth outward and upward. Then I saw it; on his right wrist was a bracelet! A new bracelet that had virtually no side effect; an armor that could allow him to be protected no matter how large he got; the odds were dangerously on his side. It had one side effect, it gave me time between each new morph to attack Kuma. Maybe if I morphed into random animals I could overpower him and hopefully win.

I wiped the blood from my face, turned to Kuma and began to charge. As I charged I began to morph. I stuck him in the lower jaw just as I completed the morph. I started landing heavy blows to his face and neck. Once he started overpowering me I changed into the armor and continued to pound him. I drew my weapon and stuck the unprotected areas on his body. I would let him to keep overpowering me once I was in the armor until it was destroyed. Then I changed into a new form and continued the process for the remaining armors.

One by one the armors fell around me: Lion Armor, Panther Armor, Jaguar Armor, Cheetah Armor, Tiger Armor, and the Hyena armor. All the armors except for one now laid waste, that sole surviving armor was the never used Alpha/Omega Armor. It had no weapons, but it had an attack in which no one would survive if they were on the receiving end of it.

By now Kuma was three times my size and strong enough to defeat me in one swipe. I kept a very safe distance from him as I summoned the Alpha/Omega Armor. The power was incredible; I became stronger and taller. I was as big as Kuma. Once again we were equal. Kuma hesitated; I have my opportunity. I used my body like a sponge, I began to adsorb energy from all around; as I did, I was geting broader. As soon as the armor began to feel tight on me I aimed the fired a blast called the Omega Blast.

The blast was so powerful that every demension saw the explosion. The only trace of Kuma's existance was his armor, the bracelet and a one-foot mound of ash. Kuma was destroyed.

Now that he was raised from the dead, he could still raise trouble. I called the for the same armor that destroyed him so long ago and asked him if he remembered the armor; he didn't! I absorbed the energy around me, but didn't absorb as much as I did the first time. I focused it and released it. The blast knocked him to the ground, a head rolled away from his body. It was hollow, like a helmet or mask. I approached the body, it wasn't Kuma! It was Duo, his son. It was starting to make sense now. The attack from Tigon and this attack were caused by Duo that's why they didn't know about the armor. Duo didn't know that the armors that defeated them were still usable.

Before I had a chance to finish him off, he teleported away. I was disapointed about that but there wasn't time to waste. I teleported back to the Road Rover's Headquarters. Even more bad news awaited me there. While I was gone, they tried thee transdogmafier, but it had no effect to Strike or Ryan.

"It looks like this trip was all for nothing." Alpha told me.

"Nothing?" I repeated. "I found out some helpful tips. remember when Tigon attacked us earlier, well the truth of it is that it was Duo all along."

"Who?"

"Kuma's son. And if he is here that means that his sister, Duet, is also here. And that means big trouble for us."
