Saving the World!

Around the world storms rage as the Crimson Cowl's storm devices cause devastation. The Thunderbolts in the Mt. Charteris the base of the Masters of Evil watch as the Crimson Cowl talks to her Masters of Evil. Hawkeye comes up with a plan that Moonstone can try to infiltrate the Masters of Evil by saying she wants to join them. The plan fails as Moonstone is locked up and put in a cell by the several Masters since the Crimson Cowl isn't sure she can trust Moonstone.

The Thunderbolts defeat several Masters of Evil who walk around the base alone to get costumes so they won't be noticed.

Moonstone in her cell finds an electronic key to unlock her shackles that she was sure wasn't there before since she checked her whole cell and wonders just where the key came from and if this is just a test to see if she would break out of her cell.

The Masters of Evil's command level of their headquarters turns into a craft that launches into the air. The Crimson Cowl is going to blackmail the world leaders into giving the Masters of Evil 1 trillion dollars. If they don't come up with the money they will face more death and destruction that will make a trillion dollars seem like a good deal.

Moonstone breaks out of her cell only to reveal to the Masters of Evil that the Thunderbolts are hidden in some of other Masters of Evil costumes. A battle then starts between the Masters of Evil and the Thunderbolts.

The Crimson Cowl detaches the control unit of the craft so the Thunderbolts won't ruin her plans. The Crimson Cowl brings along Moonstone still in her shackles and two other Masters of Evil with her.

The bigger portion of the Masters of Evil's craft eventually crashes into the ground and the Thunderbolts defeat all the Masters of evil on ground all but two Cyclone and Man-Killer who escape.

Meanwhile on the small craft called the control unit Moonstone thinks about what to do. She could split the Trillion dollars with the Crimson Cowl, or kill the Crimson Cowl and get the trillion dollars and convince the other two Masters of Evil that they need her. Moonstone finally decides that she's going to do something she considers dumb but that is actually heroic and brings down the Crimson Cowl and her small craft.

Moonstone finds someone trying to crawl out of the wreckage of the small craft and unmasks the Crimson Cowl as Dallas Riordan who doesn't provide an explanation to Atlas saying he doesn't deserve it.

The Thunderbolts celebrate their victory as Moonstone wonders where the key came from when she was in a cell and Atlas thinks about Dallas.
