Greatest Weapon on Earth

Techno visits the Downslope bar that Atlas usually frequents and notices something about Man-killer. Its not quite clear what Techno actually saw, he was viewing things differently though, with what looks like heat patterns of Man-killer. Techno says he thinks he saw something odd and leaves the bar not commenting or thinking about it again. He thinks about Man-killers useless attempt to lay low instead. This hasn't been followed up on and considering that Man-killer hasn't been seen since her job at the bar was ruined and now Techno is dead this is one that will be harder to solve.

Another scene a few panels later leaves something else curious. Techno flies out of an alleyway back to Mt. Charteris thinking "Crimson Cowl. What an absolutely insidious gambit!" and is jealous that he didn't think of it himself. The Crimson Cowl did appear in the title around this time but basically dealt with Citizen V. Did Techno just figure out that the Crimson Cowl would actually want the V-battalion and the Thunderbolts to tire each other out so she could defeat them easily? Or was Techno continuing his thoughts from earlier about Man-killer and that somehow led him to thinking about the Crimson Cowl? In another note, there is some suggestion of the Crimson Cowl in Thunderbolts #52. The first time since her appearances versus Citizen V and Techno's commenting. Jolt remarks about if a house in Symkaria is one of Silver Sable's bases. The house looks familiar to the one that the Crimson Cowl fled from previously.

Finally, all is revealed when Justin Hammer's last will and testament is revealed on a disc that Hawkeye and Songbird recovered after Hawkeye's adventure with the chain gang. Every villain that Hammer ever hired has something growing inside them and the Crimson Cowl wants to control the trigger so she could kill anyone of them if she wants. Plant-Man is the key to activating the deadly biological toxin in the superhuman community and he eventually chooses to stop the toxin by releasing pollen from his body and into the air on Earth.
