May I
recomend a site?
http://www.moviecritic.com
This
is the Movie Critic site. Go rate all the movies you have seen!
It can
even tell you what movies you may like, which ones to steer clear of, and
who is in any given movie, and a bunch more stuff!
The following
is a system I have developed for rating movies:
~concept
over acting (if the concept of the movie is one that I like, it overrides
the acting)
~story
over concept (if the story is good, not predictable, the overall concept
is canceled out)
~music
and special effects cancel eachother out (If the music is bad, the fx better
be damn good to make up for it and vice versa)
~character
developement over acting (good writing is more important than acting)
~pedictability
over story (I hate predictable movies, so it is more important than the
story line)
~originality
and predictability cancel eachother out, but it had better be a damn original
concept if it's predictable. Damn original.
~keep
my attention over predictability
Acting is pretty low on my list. It's a bonus if there's good acting. Here are some of my favourite actors and actresses.
