1. COMMON PRAYERS

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, just as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliever us from evil. Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be; world without end. Amen.

Soul of Christ

Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O Good Jesus, hear me. In your wounds hide me. Let me not be separated from thee. From the malignant enemy defend me. In the hour of my death, call me, and bid me to come to thee, that with thy saints I may praise thee forever and ever. Amen.

Act of Hope

My God, who has graciously promised every blessing, even Heaven itself, through Jesus Christ, to those who keep your commandments. Relying on your infifnite power, goodness, and mercy, and confiding in your sacred promises, to which you are always faithful, I confidently hopw to obtain pardon of all my sins, grace to serve you faithfully in this life, by doing the good works which you have commanded, which, with your assistance, I will perform; and eternal happiness in the next, through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Act of Charity

"My God, I love you with my whole heart and soul, above all things, becuase you are infinitely good and perfect, and most worthy of all my love; and for your sake I love my neighbor as myself. Mercifully grant, O My God, that having loved you on Earth, I may love and enjoy you forever in Heaven. Amen."

Act of Faith

O My God, I firmly believe that you are the one only God, the Creator and Sovereign Lord of heaven and earth, infinitely great and infinitely good. I firmly believe that in You, One Only God, there are three divine persons, really distinct and equal in all things, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I firmly believe that Christ, God the Son, became man; and He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; and He suffered and died on the cross to redeem and save us; that He arose the third day from the dead; that He ascended to heaven; and He will come at the end of the world to judge mankind; and that He will reward the good with eternal happiness and condemn the wicked to the everlasting pains of hell. I believe these, and all other articles which the Roman Catholic Church proposes to our belief, because You, my God, the infallible Truth, revealed them, and have commanded us to hear the Church, which is the pillar and ground of the Truth. In this faith I am firmly resolved, by your Holy grace, to live and die. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, mother of mercy; hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor, banished, children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vail of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this, our exile, show unto us the fruit of thy womb, Jesus! O clement, O loving! O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

2. ASSORTED PRAYERS

To The Holy Trinity:

Most Holy Trinity, your goodness has brought me to the beginning of this day and now I offer it to You with its thoughts, words and actions together with any crosses and contradictions I may encounter. Give your blessing to this day, your gift to me, so that it may be animated with Your love and so bring glory and honor to Your divine majesty. Amen.

O Blessed Trinity! Sweet redeemer, faithful God, mighty, sovereign, Lord! Communicate to us Your message of peace; grant us grace, grant us faith, grant us charity, grant us hope, that in You we might abide. Grant us mercy, O Almighty God, that we might dwell with You for eternity. Lord God, walk with us, hold our hand, forever remind us of your presence! Loving God, protect us from evil and forgive us our sins, O Lord, that we might be made clean and worthy before You. Guide us to your favor, prepare us for judgement day, and save us from the fires of hell! O Eternal Trinity, grasp us tightly, and never let go! O Glorious God, in You we trust! Amen!

To God the Father:

Eternal God, who are the Light of the minds that know you, the Joy of the hearts that love you and the strength of the wills that serve you; grant us so to know you, that we may truly love you, and so to love You that we may fully serve you, whom to serve is perfect freedom. In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Saint Augustine

Heavenly Father, I offer you the life and death of your Son, and with them my affections and resolutions, my thoughts, words, deeds, and sufferings this day and all my life, to honor your adorable majesty to thank you for all my benefits, to satisfy for my sins, and to obtain the assistance of your Grace so that I may persevere to the end, in doing Your holy Will, and may love and enjoy You forever in Your Holy Kingdom.

To Christ, God the Son:

Lord Jesus, grant us this day, to direct and sanctify, to rule and govern our hearts and bodies so that all our thoughts, words and deeds may be according to your Father's law and thus may we be saved and protected through Your mighty help. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, who has created me and ordered my course and brought me hither where I am; thou knowest what thou wouldst make me; do with me according to thy will, with mercy. Amen.
King Henry VII

To God The Holy Spirit:

Holy Spirit, I thank you for the quiet moments of this busy day when you spoke to me of your abiding love. Teach me know as I lay down to rest how to listen to you when you speak in the silence of the night, in the silence of my heart. Teach me waking or sleeping how to watch and how to listen for your still, small voice, which gives meaning and direction to every moment of my life. Amen.
Michael Buckley

Dear Spirit, God of the Holy Trinity in unity with the Father and the Son, grant me peace and guidance throughout my day, the days to come, and throughout my life. Offer unto me the Love of You, the Love of God, and help me to represent you in my actions, words, and thoughts. Amen.
