I feel your love surround me
with its soft comfort
as you look at me and say 
one word
"mine"
and I want to melt
at your feet
feeling mysef fall away
to the very essence of my being
a single word
with the power
to send me
flying
safe in your love

and now
apart
the mere thought
of your whispered 
"mine"
sends me falling
melting though you are not here
I want to be yours
so completely

even now
as we are apart
that single word from your lips
reminds me
that I can never truly be free
unless in your arms
forever

I am for you
I live for you
I am yours
forever
