It's truly unimaginable how many occurrences there are for the number Twenty-Three in our universe.  While I could conceivably launch into a huge lecture about this outstanding and often underestimated number, I'm not going to.  Mainly because, if I did, the outcome would be much too similar to the 23 Enigma page as far as content.  And since this rather awesome page already exists....
