Dave Duncan was born in Scotland and came to Canada in 1955. He is a retired geologist and now spends a lot of his time writing. His four Science Fiction novels are
Shadow, Strings, Hero and West of January
(which won the 1990 Aurora Award). He now writes mainly fantasy and has more than 25 books to his name.
Dave's latest novel is the fifth installment of The
Kings Blades series, called Impossible
Odds. The Bakka reprint of his Aurora winning novel West of January
from Red Deer Press is now
available. His next book, The Jaguar Knights, will be available in
October of 2004.
